FAXING U.S. CUSTOMS

LAST UPDATED ON 2005-December-05!

This is a copy of the cover page that we used when FAXing copies of the notarized Bill of Sale and the Title to US Customs. The correct "DATE:," "TIME:," and number of pages were pencilled in at the time that the FAX was sent. We also were very careful to follow up with a phone call as promised. CYA!

Ladies and Gentlemen:

On or about Thursday, October 9, 2003 we intend to arrive at the Sweet Grass/Coutts border crossing for the purpose of exporting a motorhome to Canada. In preparation we are herewith FAXing copies of the bill of sale and the title at least 72 hours prior to our arrival in accordance with current regulations.

Because we will be on the road, you will not be able to contact us in case this FAX does not arrive in good condition or in case you would have further questions or concerns. To compensate for that we will be calling you within 60 minutes of this transmission to confirm this FAX' arrival, legibility and to address any other concerns or questions you may have.

Thank you for your consideration. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
