Start Slow to EV's

The move to going EV could start out slow. Here we have my Solar-Electric Tricycle under construction.
When complete, It should have a 50 kph maximum speed. A Range of 80 km to 240 km depending on Battery
sizing. And a large 30" x 36" x 15" basket.
The electronics compartment has a built
-in charger, Inverter for operating 110vAC
equipment, cellphone charge port, and a
12v accessory port.

100% street legal with turn signals, tail lights
headlights (not yet intalled) and a functioal
basket which can carry 5 x 20lb propane tanks
for refilling. Tank filling was my main purpose
for building it.

Target markets are Seniors like me, Students,
People that often travel alone to shop, attend
appointments, or going to/from work. You don't
need a drivers license or Insurance or gas to opperate it. So it is ideal as a means to save for your first EV car or truck.
It may also be pedaled for exercise and have solar panels to remote charge it. As a DIY project, mine came in at $2600.00.
For those doing home food, liquor, prescription delivery you can add a 12v cooler or warmer to do your job without high
related expenses of gas, insurance, vehicle loan and the like.

Esentially we need someone to make the Tricycle frames, Battery pack suppliers, and Electronics suppliers. The battery
in the case of a Tricycle would be 2 x 25.2v x 30A with upto 2 more sets which are optional. One battery pack will
have a 12v tap on it. The Electronics supplier can expand to produce the Universal Dash computer that enables any vehicle
to become an EV vehicle. So it goes for the battery supplier that expand to make EV 48v batteries in 60A, 120A, and 180A
to cover all makes of cars, trucks, and buses. The optional Solar Panels can make the foldout 10" x 36" panels for the
ticycles and expand into making panels for Canadian car and truck conversions into EV.

Without facilities my DIY build uses old fashioned through hole builds using descrete electronic components but a
properly equiped facility could use SMT for great miniaturization, and speedy construction.

New EV Industry

Being that this a new industry that we are talking about we first confirm that everything is properly planned and executed.
So first up we need a shop classicaly used to automotive repair. This facility would obtain a donar car and donar pick-up
truck to work out best practices for removing the ICE components in prep for EV conversion and procure the 32 battery Gcells
(16 per vehicle) the Motor/Invertors and Electronics and document best practices to install them. Some support
industries would be drive shaft facilities to shorten drive shafts on pick-ups, Transmission shops to modify
the transaxle on front wheel drive to fixed gear, and making gearbox for pick-ups.

Once the vehicle is converted it needs testing and Inspection to certify it is approved. This then becomes the blueprint
for doing conversion shops country wide. There will be substancial conversations needed with name brand Auto facilities,
and support facilities. They is likely to a number of game players involed. We are talking about the Auto industry to supply
new EV ready vehicle chassis for want of a better term. Also new Auto dealerships to take the newly converted factory vehicles.
Repo lots, Used car dealers, and Actions to source conversion ready vehicles. All of this is intended to develop the market
so people have purchase options. With luck since I have no background to draw on thie will inspire more conversion shops
to come on board. At full rollout there is potential for guaranteed 15 year income for workers to just meet todays need.
That is one huge stable economy that alone could invest 738 Billion to Canada's GDP to well in excess of 2.2 Trillion.
And Canadians come out on top with Jobs, security, and much lower cost vehicles.
