In the news

Febuary 25th 2026 Hostile Alberta matches the hostile USA.
Alberta forming a provincial police force was supposed to be put forward as a vote from Albertans'
But as usual Danielle Smith is proceeding without a vote. The NDP are right she should/must
call an election so Albertans have the chance to vote her and the whole UCP out.

She blames immigrants for lack of housing, strain on education resources, strain on social services
then says while she wants to control immigration Alberta needs lots of immigrants. She needs
to look in the mirror. Her UCP Government cut funding to education, health care, infrastructure
at a time when oil royalties are 5 times higher than previous years and yet she is tabling a budget
with a huge deficit.

The USA illegally invaded Venesualia, siezed control over it's Oil, Captured it's tankers,
Cut off Oil shipments to Cuba causing a humanitarian crissis and threatens all countries
that might help Cuba to back off or face reprocussions. They are doing the same thing Russia
is doing and why they imposed sanctions on them. The world needs to grow up. As long as Trump
the dictator is alive and his cronies exist, all trade with the USA must be stopped and sanctions
enforced. Cuba did nothing to deserve such treatment. The USA must be punished by one clear
voice from a united world saying you have gone way too far and it ends now.

Febuary 18th 2026 A Little less pesimism please.
Another Conservative MP crosses the flour putting the Liberals one seat away from a majority government.
The MP was considering resigning due to Poilievre constant attacking of all policies from the liberals,
but after PM Carney's speach in Switzerland has decided to join the liberals.
PM Carney has rolled out great steps forward for our nation with building more here in military
looking to target key people with needed experience for fast track immigration and citizenship,
ramping up production of military vehicles for our ecconomy and export to new markets and utilizing our
aluminum and steel and laid off workers to meet the need with a target of 135,000 jobs by 2030.

This did not sit well with poilievre or the media interviewers. Like usual they say too fast,
too expensive, too little return in the short term, and too ambitious. How did these morons manage
to survive? If you FAIL TO PLAN you PLAN TO FAIL The previous Liberal government did
fail on objectives because the conservatives blocked all progress and instilled the mood in
the public that we are weak and should not try. It is a new world now with daily threats against us
and people are seeing how in-action has left us in a tough spot.

On another note, Short sited Poilievre says Canada must not increase immigration of workers because
we are short of housing across the country. Pure hogwash! Done right incentives already begun can
solve this. The oil patch already uses work camps and this technic can be used almost anywhere
where workers and families need accomodation close to mines, processing plants, and factories and
distribution hubs. Such fast paced accomodation can be supplied from prefab housing plants and air
lifted into remote regions using our fleet of 15 CH-147F Chinook helicopters. There are so many
ways Industry, and communities can work with the government to satisfy housing for workers and their families.

The USA is committing crimes against humanity with it's embargo against Cuba. The evil US regime
says Cuba is a failed country because it relies upon external oil to supply it's ecconomy. It is
trying to force it to sign a deal with the USA or be destroyed. Any country that comes to it's aid
will be dealt with severely. Cuba is on good terms with Canada and many other nations so it is
up to us and other nations to lend aid and tell the USA their beligerence will not be tolerated.

Febuary 15th 2026 The world in unrest.
Our world is progressively a scary place. Putin of Russia tops the list as a criminal regime set
on concuring countries that were a part of the former USSR that seek to remain independant. Trump of
the USA has gone to a framework of aggression against the whole world with Tariffs on countries
that buy less than desired from the USA. It also has kidnapped the Venesalian leader for alledged crimes,
pulled our of the Paris climate accord, threatened takeover of Panama, Greenland, Gasa, and Iran.
Iran is fighting Isreal who is fighting Gasa. It's too bad we couldn't just abduct these leaders
and implant them with an obedience device that can never be removed and If they want to be released
they must end aggression of their countries. After release, if they embark on aggressive activity,
a simple push of a button ends their life. In the Pandemic of 2019 there was talk of Bill Gates
developing a nano technology to be put in the covid injections to give every one a unique number
to track them. Maybe Leaders whom engage in bad aggression and our worst offending criminals
could be handled this way. If you abandon deplomacy in international affairs, Kill, Attack,
pedal drugs, traffic people, rape or engage in sexual misconduct you will be caught and
implanted. Serve your time and if caught again terminated.

Febuary 12th 2026 USA house votes to end Trumps Tariffs on Canada.
It's a symbolic move but shows republicans are being less supportive of the presidential action
US Border czar vows Minnesota ICE immigration clamp ending.
Trump slams Canada in lite of house vote to end his tariffs on Canada.

Febuary 9th 2026 USA looks to block Gordie Howe bridge, take control of great lakes, and
assert more tariffs on an unfair Canada.

Those are the rants from the bully, hostile neighbor to the south. He does not treat us with respect,
Barks demands of us with threats and in essence treats us a slaves.
We are a proud sovereign nation with more to offer the world than America could ever concieve.
I say this for many reasons:
  1. Canada is as large as the USA in land mass,
  2. Canada has more resources than most countries including the USA
  3. The USA has been getting resources at an unpresidented discount for years
  4. As PM Carney has said we can do ourselves and build more than he can ever take away
  5. Trump started and wanted this war but he has picked the wrong adversary, we will finish it.
  6. Canada skilled workers in industries and industries that the USA needs but doesn't have,
  7. Once the current projects and anticipated projects and investments come to pass the 6.7%
unemployment will drop to 0 and we will need thousands of new workers
  8. Nobody wants to go to the USA to live but many in professions want to come here
  9. CUSMA is dead. Everything Trump has done signals this and there is no reasoning with a maniact.
  10. Lets not concern us too much because the USA has done more to destroy itself than any nation or
group of nations could do and Trump will be gone in four years.
So while I know the news media takes on the task of reporting the news of the day both good and
bad, how about a special report country wide all stations as a nation building strategy where
people can tune in and know concisely what the USA is doing, what Canada is doing, what people
can do, and outline how we can fight back.
My website www.werunique.us has been posting summaries of news stories affecting Canada and the USA
since Trump took office. As a proud Canadian I give my views on the issues. Beyond the news it has
breakdowns on housing strategies, federal budget, auto issues, and much more so please take a look.

The Gordie Howe Bridge
When the bridge was proposed the USA saw it as neceessary and was glad Canada would foot the bill
In Trumps first term he was exstatic to approve it. Canada along with private industry covered the
costs 6.9 billion on a project that ran 10 years. Michigan workers and steel went into the US side
but paid for by Canada. The private partner would run the toll operations to recoup the costs and
would be located on the Canada side. Once costs are recovered the toll fees would be collected and
shared equally with Michigan. It was a win-win for all.
Trump is demanding 50% ownership and 100% toll revenue siting that Canada should have bought all
the steel from the USA and is not allowed to make back it's money through tolls. Michigan is
furious as we should be too. We paid for it and Trump now wants us to give it to him. The real things
behind this is the billionaires that own the Ambassidor bridge which has fallen into dis-repair and
is unable to handle the volume, and they want all the revenue without any inherent costs. Michigan
came on board because they would make 50% of tolls once the costs were covered.

The Great Lakes
These are a massive source of fresh water used by both countries to supply the needs of the
population. It serves the transport industry to move goods from port to port through locks
Jointly operated by both governments. But where the Canadian locks have been maintained
the same can not be said for the USA. Illrgal immigrants, weapons, and drugs travel into our
country from the USA but through our border security efforts don't pass to the USA. Lastly,
Trump wants to divert fresh water from the great lakes to cool his data centers. That is 3 points
of contension that we must demand he address. Fix the locks, secure his border and don't touch the lakes.

Alberta and B.C fresh water wanted by USA.
Of course the USA will interfere with Canada in any way that it can. The Alberta separatists
are blind to the fact that if Alberta separates, Canada is broken with loss of revenue, loss
of unity, and because the separatists need a garrantee (which is likely revocable) he can Annex it.
He gets our oil and gas, agriculture, fresh water and has all the leverage he needs to cripple us.
The Premier Danielle Smith is paving the way to her own demise. She wants full autonomy but
if separation happens she will go from shared autonomy with Canada to 0 autonomy under USA rule.
Her fabulous oil and gas won't be hers to command but property of the USA.

He attacks on all fronts He needs a clear message and it must be substancial.
We fought along with US Troops on many occassions, which Trump disputes. We sent firefighters
when California burned which Trump ignores and blames the governor for missmanagement,
We made space for airplanes during 9/11 but to hear him talk we are unreasonable and too hard to
deal with because we are so unfair.
The united States are a terrorist regime run by a dictator/bully. You deal with a bully by
scaring off his supporters so he stands alone. With no support he has to turn and run.
A disissive strike all at once. Shut off power, oil, gas, water, steel, aluminium, rare earth,
prescious metals, and all travel to and from the USA until all tariffs are removed and new deals
signed with claviet that any deviasion from the deal will result in all measures being reinstated
and made permanent.

Febuary 8th 2026 CBC-Cross Canada check-up: Alberta move to separation
The take-aways from this episode of the check-up are:
  1. Alberta premier has made it easy for the separatists to launch a referendum
  2. Alberta premier refuses to tell Albertans whether she is for or against separation
  3. Some the UPC members have signed the petition to separate
  4. The premier is playing a dangerous game. If the vote is to separate
    1. Plan on 20 years of heavy negotiations on treaties, transfer of power,
    2. Canada would loose 20 billion but Albertans would see at least 40 billion in cost
      increase yearly.
    3. kiss child care, dental care, health care, inter-provincial trade, oil to markets
      bye-bye
    4. Mass exodus of people, expertise, business, investment to result.
    5. Soverenty of Alberta would clearly be at risk as a land locked province with NO
      market access except the USA
    6. Alberta would be defenseless against US Annexation which means becoming a US state
where resources on land are Federally owned. Her desire for 100% say becomes 4% say.
    7. Education funding would drop to zero so families would have to resort to private
education starting with kindergarten or home school so no daycare
    8. The separatists know so little about how things work, it's embarrassing. Every
business in Canada is taxed at the same rate based upon income thresholds. People are
also taxed based upon income thresholds. Provinces which does not include Alberta charge
a Provincial Sales Tax and the federral government charges a General sales tax.
In our countries constitution is mandated that Every Canadian deserves the right
to basic levels of existance. So Provinces and terrirtories that lack wealth due to
population vs production get an equalization payment which is administered by their
respective province. In Alberta;s case it earns so much more than the norm that it is
expected to cover it's own base levels. It has chosen not to cover much and this is
where the separatists need to target their anger.
    9. Separatists have been in talks with the USA high levels to seek support for their
movement. That IS Treason against the country. Under Canadian law it is the only
crime that warrants the death penalty. All who sign must understand what they are agreeing
to. Had the Separatist leader and members not had talks with the USA until the public voted
to separate it would not be Treason. The public has not voted so current laws stand and it is Treason.
  5. The premier is playing a dangerous game. If the vote is to stay in Canada
    1. The separatists need to be very worried. They are on a list of Non-Canadians who want
to harm the Country which IS Treason and by their own choice have turned their back
on the country. Being Canada, we might shelve the list but may also decide to denounce
      their citizenship and deport them.
    2. Premier Smith might be using the separatists as a pawn to get her wishes from the
government, but at some point there is going to be reprocussions whether it be by actions
from the government of Canada, actions by parties of all types with-in the province,
actions from municipalities, and actions from the electorate.
    3. The separatists movement is worded in such a way as to be a grievance pot. If something
bothers you in Canada then sign your name to separate where we can fix everything. No
      need to negotiate.
  6. Albertan's need to worry about a frightning pattern:
    1. Premier Danielle Smith has so little concern for the health of the world that she wants
to disregard Canada's agreement with the Paris Climate accord.
    2. Premier Danielle Smith has so little concern for the health of Canada that she would
rather see provinces that fall short of assuring every person has basic levels of humanity
      that they be ignored.
    3. Premier Danielle Smith has so little concern for the health of Alberta that she
supports cuts to health care, education, infrastructure.
    4. First Nations people on Treaty land (6.7%) can vote on Federal elections but can not
vote in provincial elections because they reside on Crown land. How is that fair??
    5. Premier Danielle Smith exhibits traits of being a spoiled child. She wants and will
throw a tantrum if she is refused. She issued 9 demands against Canada or she would make
life miserable for all Canadians even take Alberta out of Canada.
      1. repeal C-69 to make those that polute clean it up,
      2. lift the tanker ban which is under B.C. jurisdiction,
      3. remove oil and gas emissions cap which is under paris climate accord,
      4. be included in equalization payments when we already make such high income that we
have the money for basic needs that Alberta just chooses to ignore.
      5. clean electricity just because because she wants to use coal and fossil fuels
      6. no single use plastics because that is made from oil and gas sources
      7. abandon net zero because she wants no Ev's
      8. return oversight of industrial carbon tax to Alberta because she can continue to side
      step doing climate iniatives.
      9. and halt federal censorship of oil companies.and federal interference but is ok with
      interfering with B.C tanker ban.
Of these demands, equalization payments that the province was supposed to cover
on behalf of Albertans should be charged against the province as an additional levy and
then handed to a provincial governing force with NO provincial intevention to see that
      they reach albertans.
    6. Her 'NEXT' forum of town halls looked to seek approval at all costs for:
      1. Immigration: Should provincial programs be withheld from non-citizens and
non-permanent residents without an Alberta-approved permit? (this is not Russia)
      2. Immigration Levels: What are Albertans' opinions on the previous year's federal
      immigration levels? (Immagration is federal)
      3. Constitutional Changes: Should Alberta work with other provinces to push for
constitutional amendments to protect provincial rights? (unneccessary)
      4. Equalization/Federal Transfers: Is the current federal transfer and equalization
system unfair to Alberta? (Only if Albertan's are selfish unfeeling snobs or brats)
      5. Provincial Revenue Agency: Should Alberta leave the joint tax collection agreement
and establish its own income tax collection agency? (Only if it leaves Canada)
      6. Alberta Pension Plan: What are the perceived benefits of creating an Alberta Pension
Plan? (Alberta can decide who and how much people get in retirement even though they
worked their lives to have retirement)
7/ Alberta Pension Plan: What are the main concerns about creating an Alberta Pension
Plan? (Alberta has a fraction of the population of Canada and would be starting from
scratch so it would not cover even current pensions)
      8. Provincial Police Force: What are the most favored aspects of an Alberta Police
      Service? ()
      9. Provincial Police Force: What are the biggest concerns about transitioning from the
RCMP to an Alberta Police Service? (Only large cities could afford it, towns and small
      cities would go bankrupt.)
It was very one sided you had the choice agree with it or shut up.
    7. Then she made recalls of mla's, and citizen based referendums possible.
    8. When a plebicite to stay in Canada began and was gaining momentum she made the rules
more difficult by adding an entry fee, but then to help separatists gave a lower number
of signers and more time to gather signers.
  7. The Premier can not be trusted. In her trips to woew Trump she took Kevin O'leary to
dangle the carrot of a massive data centre to be located on First Nations treaty land under
Canadian and Treaty direct control. She came home claiming victory as Trump would not Tariff
Alberta but the next day he did just that first at 10% then at 25%.
  8. When Teachers without a contract wanted the province to honour negotiation tactics she
responded by using not-withstanding-clause to remove their rights and force them to accept
  9. The former PC government in 1998 tried to change the marriage act to exclude all LGBTQ2+
but failed as that is federal jurisdiction. In 2024 the UPC proposed to stop Transgender from
certain sports, and again in 2025 proposed to limit affirming healthcare to the LGBTQ2+
    community.
  10. Seasonal workers in hospitality, events, and Industry like farm, aggriculture, and Oil
and gas are the targets of her anti-resident immagration rules. Farmers, aggriculture, event
planners, hospitality whom may also be separatists should consider this as a major risk too.
Not covered in the show was effects of population and residency as it pertains to students, First
Nations, migratory workers.
how many people live in alberta 4,262,635 in 2021 now over 5 million with 500,000 additional seasonals.
how many first nation peoples live in alberta 284,000 in 2021. 6.7%
First nation people under Alberta election act are not addressed in the election act excluding
them from being able to vote even though they "Live in Alberta".

Febuary 4th 2026 Trade group attends Korean shipyard
Potentials grow as Korean business leaders say they always remember Canada's support during the
Korean war. They have long wanted to increase business with Canada. Offers were declinded in the
former conservative government and they hope the liberal government opens the door. Proposed is
joint development of making heavy steel beams, sub construction, tank construction,
making of missles and torpedo's, electric vehicle manufactring, and even expanding into neucliar
power for subs.

Alberta premier is demanding more say in juditial judge appointments and vows to cut funding if she doesn't get her way.
Judges are supposed to be impartial and free from political influence. Danielle Smith does not like that they can overturn her
illegal actions on grounds of constitutional conflict.

Several sitting MLA's have signed support for Alberta separation

Febuary 1st 2026 A year of Trump waging war on the world
At home Poilievre survived the leadership review. He spoke to a crowd of clearly grass roots supporters on how he would cut taxes, build homes,
tackle high grocery inflation and job insecurity without going into how he can do it, He of course blamed PM Carney for not moving fast
enough and avoided any talk on the big thorn in our side ... Trump. PM Carney had delivered a world speach in Switzerland which got applause
from the 150 nations attending and a resounding complaint from Trump. In essense PM Carney told nations to work together united against
power nations that choose to inflict targeted attacks against small nations. Trump basically said nations must stay individual and do one
off deals (where he can pick them off one by one). In a rare move Poilievre praised the speach then resumed his retoric of how the PM has not
done anything in over 8 months of office.

Since I last posted, lets look at the progress. You have to understand that Rome was not built in a day.
  1. The United Arab Emerace pledged 70 Billion to help Canada with infrastructure and green technology.
  2. India wants to commense trade with Canada.
  3. South Korea is seeking to sell 100 billion in 20 new subs to Canada with deals to build service ports here
and also wants to build kia assembly plants here
  4. China has removed the 100% Tariff on Canola and 25% Tariff on fish and Lobster and resumed accepting beef products
in exchange for us allowing 49,000 chinese EV's.
  5. Sweden would like to have us buy the griffin fighter over the F-35 because we can service it here instead of being
at the mercy of the USA. the griffin is cheaper, just as versatile, can be supplied faster and isn't prone to being remotely
shut down if the USA tries to control us.
  6. Australia has agreed to supply an arctic early warning system
  7. Greenland and Norway along with EU and UK have committed to training military along with us to secure our north.
  8. Mexico and Brazil are doing more direct trade with us
  9. Major projects office has been established and MOU signed with Alberta on pipelines
  10. Inter-provincial trade barriers are coming down even though it is a slow process.
Under a Poilievre government, none of this would be possible as he has no vision, no experience and no contacts.
If you think of the home front, the PM has killed the consumer carbon levy, is supplying a GST increase to low income people
to help with groceries, adding support for food banks, and incentive for greenhouse development, and through trade
with India, Mexico, Brazil, and China we have two way trade to lower food prices and with China alone restored 3.7 billion in GDP.

Critics say the China deal is bad because it floods the Canadian market with cheap Ev's which may also be a security threat through
data mining and tracking. This is missguided nonsense. Canada imports or makes 1.4 million vehicles yearly so 49,000 is 3% of the
market. In 2023 of the 44,000 imported Chinese made vehicles about 34,000 were Tesla's a USA brand made in a china plant. In 2024
the USA demanded we halt Chinese Ev's because it would hurt their market for Ev's. We complied and our canola and fishery markets were
hit with tariffs. We lost 3.7 Billion in GDP plus the 2.2 billion in GDP that would have resulted from letting Ev's in.
With the USA taking steps to abolish Ev's and the big 3 manufacturers following suit it is the right move to meet our climate
change goals. As for security risks, an Ev does not require remote access so just make that a condition. While were at it GM's
onstar and Fords Sync can also do data mining and tracking. The new F-35 fighter jets need co-operative updates for military operations
but this also means the USA can shut down our jets at will, even during flight. We can not trust the USA anymore so lets go
with the swedish griffin which is just as good and can serviced here. If Kia, VW, Audi, Toyota, Honda, want to set up plants
here all the better.
I wish the conservatives had more than a preschool level of math knowledge and general abilities. If you have a basket
(government income) and you add apples into it (corporate taxes, cunsumer taxes, trade taxes) and you remove apples (costs of programs)
there is only so much a government can do without increasing apples put in. When the USA demanded we halt Chinese Ev's, that killed
5.9 Billion and we cancelled the consumer carbon levy of 4 billion. The conservatives wanted the corporate carbon levy also to go
40 Billion so with-in a year or less the basket would empty with no way to replentish it. Our PM made a deal that restored the 5.9
Billion into the basket, new UAE investment of 70 Billion and growing trade deals that could render 30 to 80 Billion in new markets.

November 07, 2025 Supreme court Ostridge cull opens door to culling people that survived covid-19
Yes 6 Ostridges died of bird flu but 400 survived and were claimed immune. Requests for confirming test were denied so the
cult moves on. On Covid-19 scientist agree once you get Covid-19 it remains for life even if you recover. So using the same arguements
to order the cull of 400 birds, people that survived covid-19 are at risk of being killed to prevent covid spread.

PC MP crosses floor from PC party to Liberal party and another chooses to resign. Poilievre constant ranting that he will bring
the government down is against every canadians wishes. The budget can now be passed with just 2 votes from other parties and PC
unrest may reshape the government
into a majority! Poilievre is still talking like he is in the trudeau era.
Alberta premier Danielle Smith cut funding to education, health, infrastructure for years and now blames teachers, health care
as being unreasonable in negotiations.

October 2025 Alberta chooses to attack the rights of Teachers through the 'notwithstanding' clause
Quebec, Ontario, ans Saskatchewan also have tried to use this tool to take away peoples rights. It is a trend that must stop.

September 2025

Albertans need to listen up or be doomed. There is movement towards leaving Canada to join the USA and take Saskatchwan with it. It has been toughted as texas of the north but think again and here is why. Look at texas it was an independant republic but chose to be annexed by the USA. No, Texas is not sovereign; it is a state of the United States, a status established by its annexation in 1845 and confirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Texas v. White (1869), which states that a state cannot unilaterally secede. While Texas has a history as an independent republic before joining the U.S. and secessionist movements exist, these do not change its current legal status as a U.S. state. The people of texas have only one choice stay as residents or leave. Leaving means they can sell their assests and leave with what they can carry. The NorthWest Teritories is one of 4 founding provinces and 3 founding teritories making up Canada in 1867. In 1905, Alberta and Saskatchewan were granted Province-like status under treaty between the inuit, Metee', and first nations and Canada under the BNA to share their land and resources with the settlers living within the Province-like areas. Canada broke off the BNA under constitution of 1982 to be classified as it's own country. No, Provinces are not sovereign; they are provinces and teritories of Canada, a status established by its treaties in 1867 and no member region can unilaterally secede. Under the treaties, if the residents wish to leave or threaten to secede, the land and resources remain owned by the first nations and Canada and the people can leave with what they have on their backs. Danielle Smith and her PC party want to be's of the UCP are traitors to Canada and the Canadian way. Those who follow her or promote leaving Canada, I say pack your bags and leave. The land and resources stay because Canada and it's Native alliance own these. The grass is always green on the other side. I am reminded of a cartoon. A young man on one side of the fence is walking and tired. He see's people in chauffured vehicles on the other side. For $1000 he can buy a guy's chauffured vehicle so he hops the fence and buys it and the man in the vehicle grabs the cash and takes off. The buyer checks out his vehicle and finds the chauffure is a cardboard cut-out and the vehicle is a thin metal skin on one side with two wheels on the other side where a person walks pushing the vehicle around. No, the United States does not have transfer payments to its states in the same way Canada does, as U.S. federal aid to states is based on specific programs, not an equalization principle designed to reduce fiscal disparities between states. Canada's Equalization program, mandated by the Constitution Act, is a form of federal transfer to ensure all provinces can provide reasonably comparable public services and taxation levels. In Canada: Equalization Payments: are a core component of the federal fiscal system. These are federal payments to provinces and territories to reduce differences in their fiscal capacities to raise revenue. The goal is to ensure that all Canadians, regardless of where they live, have access to reasonably comparable public services. In the United States: The U.S. federal government provides aid to states through various grant programs and funding streams, but there isn't a single, broad equalization system. Aid is often tied to specific needs or programs, such as highway construction, education, or social services, rather than a universal principle of equalizing wealth across states.

August 13, 2025 When employees don't get paid.
Lets look at Employee pay structures. In case 1 you have a restaurant or hotel. Staff are scheduled for work and if they are called in
businesses are required by law to pay at least 4 hours for scheduled or called in workers. Workers are paid even if there are no customers
and tend to cleaning and prep. Case 2 is the Oil rig workers who live 24/7 on site and provided with meals, lodging and more. Enter the
Air Canada flight attendants whom are expected to arrive and work unpaid doing check-ins, clean-up and more but are not paid until the plane
doors close and it pushes back. To add to their troubles they must seek lodging at both ends of trip at market rates. Often flight attendents must
share rooms to make things kinda work. Why are professional flight attendants treated like unskilled workers at entry level possitions? Can you
imagine if the police, fire, doctors, nurses, teachers, or soldiers were treated this way. Air Canada should have lodging with scheduling secured at
all destinations, workers paid from check-in time to check-out time like ALL businesses have to do.

August 12, 2025 More tariffs and still no response
China has increased canola tariffs to 75% which hurts our canola industry in a harsh way. Trump is busy making deals which are in
fact just extortion measures with countries of the world with Canada not addressed in a good or bad way. Exports say that
while the USA is only going after non CUSMA complient goods that may change at the stroke of a pen.

Canada placed a 100% tariff against cheap china electric vehicles some time back because the cheap China EV's are made by highly
questionable child slave labor, potentially capable of flooding the Canadian market and hurting the auto sector. The USA asked us
to take these measures fearing their auto sector will be hurt so we complied. China retaliated with 50% Tariff on canola. Damages to
our steel, aluminum, copper and auto sector by USA
Tariffs has prompted Canada to Tariff China steel inports at far less than market rates. Time to rethink and re-align things are

in order.

The USA is no longer a trusted friendly nation as it moves to specifically destroy our economy.
  1. They claimed our border was insecure and was allowing large volumes of drugs into their country and illegal immagration.
So we spent 1.2 Billion to fix it. Still the baseline tariffs remain. They in return have done nothing to stop illegal guns,
drugs, and immagrants into our nation.
  2. They claimed we don't spend enough on defence which has been true but we have taken measures to correct this with increased
enlistment, arctic defence grid and new aircraft, ships, subs, and artilliary and northern bases. The USA has still not
supplied 16 paid for f-35 jets that the USA can possibly shut down remotely. The US is progressing to the f-45 jets to
    maintain air superiority over us.
  3. They want us to spend over 90 billion for a defence dome which experts say would cost well over 780 Billion and take 10 years
to do. They don't count such as doing anything constructive so why the 'H' would we want to get involved and still might have tariffs?
  4. They claim we are not open as we place restrictions on their banks, make US companies pay taxes if operating in Canada,
We placed a digital services tax on companies that make money selling services to Canadians, use supply management to restrict the
local markets from being trompled by an economy 10x larger, and charge for resources like copper, nickle, uranium, rare erath
elements etc.. It's all take take take
  5. They claim they want all vehicles and manufacturing to be in the USA but that just is so unreasonable. The industries would die.
  6. To meat our climate change mandate we need electric vehicles which the USA doesn't want made. So maybe it time to forget
trump and mend some China relations. What if we drop China tariffs on EV cars to 25% and in exchange we get tariffs off canola and
get investment on battery plants here so we can build our own EV-vehicles

August 1, 2025 More tariffs and still no response
Canada is still playing the Trump game. Trump threatens tariff, Canada is wait and see as we try to negotiate. Trump ups the tariffs
and businesses are hurt even further and Canada will just wait and see as we negotiate. Trump just ignores Canada holding on to our
lack of serious effort as the reason. The Tariffs are cutting sales to the USA because importers have to pay more for Canadian
products. Alberta and Saskatchewan are now stocking US Liquer again which is counter-productive. Canada can only win in this
battle if consistent. Going ahead...
  1. Trump contends he needs nothing from Canada
  2. Trump claims Canada / US has a massive trade inbalance
In Trumps eyes any nation that doesn't
buy as much as the US buys from them is unfair hostile treatment.
  3. The tariffs most effect Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Lumber, Pharmacuticles
  4. Trump wants a defence dome with investment from Canada
  5. Trump tariff threats as a political war tool
  6. Canada Post union urges employees reject the offer which includes:
    • Adding non union weekend staff to handle backlogs
    • 13% wage increase over 3 years
    • More community mailboxes to lesson lower revenue

July 21, 2025 Premiers meet to discuss tariffs
Ahead of the premiers meeting US commerce secretary Lutwick proclaims Canada is hard to deal with, their borders are not open
they have this unfair supply management system and are making the cars that should be made here. The tariffs will stay and may
increase we have all the cards.
China cut the US off on precious minerals and Canada needs to do the same. Without Canadian Potash US farms are idle, without
prescious minerals, steel, Alluminum, all US industry is halted, military development is halted and without oil, gas, electricty
the US is crippled. So who has all the cards? WE DO cut them off until all tariffs are gone this is the message to send.
Only with tariffs gone can a new CUSMA be negotiated with stiff procausions to defend on breaches to trade under CUSMA2

July 13, 2025 Trading breakdown game
Looking at how trade and production works in an economy using a simple dollar value and 3 scenerios we might see this:
  1. As it was
A company imports some material $1.00
It makes a product for sale $2.00
Costs to make the product including operation, labor, taxes -$1.75
    Net profit $0.25
    Profit over 3 months 60x$0.25=$15.00
    and all is well.
  2. A 50% Tariff
A company imports some material $1.00
    USA collects $0
It makes a product for sale $2.00
Costs to make the product including operation, labor, taxes -$1.75
Net profit was $0.25 but now is -$0.75
    Profit over 3 months 60x-$0.75=-$45.00
and the company goes under or raise prices.
  3. Cut off Trump Energy until all tariffs are gone
    All USA industries shut down
Energy and Exports to USA stop from Canada
Trump is angry with Canada because without Energy and materials from Canada he can't do anything.
Hopefully world economies will see Canada has saved them too and refuse to supply the USA until Tariffs are gone.
Based upon the 1 hour response when Doug Ford threatened a Tariff on electricity, I give less than a week
before he removes all Tariffs world wide.

If he hints to impose them again let him know the response will be 10 times harsher.
With tariffs off negotiation can begin...
A company imports some material $1.00
It makes a product for sale $2.00
Costs to make the product including operation, labor, taxes -$1.75
    Net profit $0.25
    Profit over 3 months 60x$0.25=$15.00
    and all is well.

July 11, 2025 Stop playing Trumps' game
Trump is a leader (cough cough) of a country
with an economic footprint 10 times larger than
Canada but 1000% depenadant on the world trade to
survive.

Canada supplies the resources he needs but he is a
bully that wants the world to kiss his ass and cave
to his demands. There is NO NEGOTIATION WITH HIM.
HE DOES NOT HONOUR AGREEMENTS. Cut him off like
you would a drinker at a bar that doesn't pay his tab.
Yes this will hurt Canada for a very short time but it
is for the best.

We need to lead the world and send a clear message that
illegal unfair Tariffs will NOT be tollerated.

If we keep playing his game our industries will continue to operate at ever increasing lower profits and market instability.
The Trump objectives: It is clearly a one sided plan with nothing for Canada.

Throughout this Tariff war we have not asked or demanded anything and that must change. He violated
CUSMA so it no longer applies. All trade with the USA must stop until:
  1. All Tariffs are removed. He is to get
No power, Oil, Gas, Steel, Aluminum, Copper, lumber, rare earth minerals and we will not allow USA
products of any kind into Canada.
See how long 8 border states last without power and people last without fuel and industry lasts
without materials to make goods or customers to buy goods.
  2. He is to take immediate action to stop the spread of drugs, guns, and people illegally into Canada.
  3. All travel of Canadians to the USA is to stop until harsh measures of the regime are stopped.
  4. All US visiters that do not have Canadian citizenship can not enter Canada from the USA.
  5. The Digital Services Tax is re-instated until negotiated in a new deal
  6. Once the above measures are met the USA will get power, oil, and gas under faith in new negotiations but any new
actions will halt negotiations and stop energy transfers.
  7. Items Identified like Potash, Steel, Aluminum, Copper or other substances will resume once agreed upon.
  8. Cross border travel and safty will also be part of negotiations

July 6, 2025 Alberta Next designed to lie to Albertans'
Our Premier runs a radio show, runs rallies, and advertises on radio and tv about 'Alberta Next' but as I have found
if you agree with the BS she is peddling you get a thankyou message but if you don't agree it says this site is for
Alberta residents only and locks you out. Well I am an Albertan my whole life. The Premier wastes the money at every
turn, cuts spending on health, education, Infrastructure and then claims it's all Ottawa's fault. We had no health
management under JASON kENNY during Covid and now have just as many Measles cases as all the the USA under Danielle Smith.

To weigh in on her Next Program. It is fawed and full of lies. You must watch a video to participate in the next survey.
Each survey video is 100% wrong and untruthfull. The First question is are you an Alberta resident. If you say 'Yes' it
asks you to type your responce. I tried many times clearing my browser cookies each time. Any responce other than 'Yes'
tells you the survey is open to only Albertans. A responce of Yes gives a thank you for supporting whichever topic you chose.

So here is a partial sample of the questions:
  1. Should Alberta have a Provincial Police force like Ontario and Quebec have?
Ontario has a population of 16.176 Million
Quebec has a population of 9.1 Million
Alberta has a population of 5 Million
The remaining 7 provinces and teritories has a population of 11.8 Million total.
Almost half of Alberta's population varies due to work so in short, Alberta can not manage or support an APP department.
In addition, Red Deer, Lloydminister, Okatoks, High river, Lethbridge, and Medicine hat can't even support Municipal police.
So this is a lame question. The premier is already preparing for such before she gets your view.
  2. An Alberta Pension Plan?
Our premier took an economics course in school but I guess she didn't learn a thing. She would have you believe a base of
2.5 Million contributors starting this year equals more interest income than 60 years of 20 Million progressing
to 42 Million in that 60 years. The government of Canada gets a far better interest rate than Alberta could ever
hope for. The PC party wiped out the heritage savings trust fund and the UCP is just a remake of that same damaging
party. By the way, the 5 Million of Alberta includes non working seniors, children, migrants that would not contribute to the Ab pension.
  3. Alberta Revenue Agency instead of the Canada Revenue Agency?
I see where this is going. Our premier wants to take Alberta out of Canada. She wants all the money made in Alberta and figures
she can handle a land locked Province, it's markets, it's defences, it's future. She is sadly mistaken. The First Nations,
Inuit, and Mete own the land and she only has the right to share it. Just look at the Covid crisis, Measles crisis, Union
disputes with teachers, government services, health system, education, infrastructure to see what a bad thing this would be.

Her predesesor Jason Kenny once said how beautiful it would be if the c.p.p was transfered to alberta A.p.p so he could
decide who gets paid and how much. They don't realize it's your pension money that you earned. While were on the
topic, if Alberta collects all Taxes it is NOT part of Canada so OAS, GST, child tax credit, child daycare, dental and
vision care, student loans, and many more things become mute. Do you think 2.5 Million workers can cover 6.9 Billion in
expenses to run Alberta? Expect big tax increases and drop of services.
  4. Immagration Control?
She wants to stop people coming to Alberta. So the Oil patch shuts down because it supports mirgrant workes from the maritimes
which come here to make money fast so they can support their families back home. Same thing for the service industry, hospitality,
and farming too. For the province to grow we need trades people, health care proffesionals, and staff for small business. So we
need immagrants from other prvicinces and countries.
  5. Constitutional Changes?
Can you say tail wagging the dog?
Or how about a business owner hires a manager who then decides to sell the business
pocket the money and leave the business ower to pick up pieces. In a nutshell that is
Danielle Smith. Alberta voted her party in to manage the affairs of Alberta. Treatees
have been in place since 1871. If the treatees are broken all land
    goes back to the
first nations, inuit, and mete. All occupents of Canada must leave. Alberta and Saskatchewan
exist because the Northwest teritory was amended to simulate 2
    provinces in 1905.
The Natives own all the land and the treaty allows non-natives to share it. I am ok with her
taking herself family and her UCP cronies and separatists and leaving Alberta for a jail
in EL Salvador which is where her friend Trump will send her.

She wants full control over land, resources below, air above, profits, and development. The native peoples are stuarts of the
land, waters, and air. In addition, International signed agreement dictates Canada must limit air pollution and damages to
water and land. She wants to trade with other markets but if she won't look after land and air pollution all trade is off.
  6. Federal Transfers and Equalization?
This is mute. A responsible government looks after ALL it's people. In our case that is 42 Million people spread over 5000 kms.
The Federal government has set minimum levels of compensation to the people that based upon Provincial income determines the
amount of equalization payment each province gets. Alberta because of it's great wealth earns more per person than any other
province. Yukon, NWT, Inuvik, Labrador and PEI make the least. The same is true on services transfer payments. The CRA collects
all taxes from businesses and workers. This money funds all services, programs, and functions of the Canadian government.
Provinces collect royalties on resources mined or extracted which is sovereign unto themselves. Now in the case of Alberta
strong investment in Oil and gas means the foreign investment companies that operate the industry make their money pay their
    taxes and leave the country.
The premier snuck through a 'No fault Insurance' to start in 2026 which means if you are seriously injured in an accident that was not your fault
you can not sue. Your medical expenses may be covered but long term medical and property damage are not. This is great for visiters to Alberta since
they get off the hook if they cause an accident but if you cause the accident they can sue you and collect the minimum insurance payout.

July 1, 2025 Canada's Birthday is not a celebration
We removed the Digital services Tax and the USA immediately announced that it won, We have complete negotiating
superiority over Canada. The USA position is that if we (Canada) try anything to protect our country he will stop
negotiations until we concede to his demands. So where does that leave us?
  1. International Commerce
Canadian businesses operating in the USA must pay US Taxes
USA businesses operating in Canada are exempt from paying Canadian taxes
All businesses operating in Canada must immediately pay taxes inclusive of banks, investment firms, streaming services (the DST) and the like.
  2. Supply Management
The US is 10 times the size of canadian economy so we set quota's on how much the US can import so that it doesn't
destroy our economy. If they exceed the quota a huge tariff is applied. Todate, they have never even come close to
exceeding but he wants that restriction removed.
This restriction must remain because without it he can control all our economy.
  3. Border Security
Claim is that because 40 lbs of drugs came through our borders a 25% Tariff is placed on everything until we fix the problem
We spent 1.2 Billion to fix the problem. The USA ships Drugs, Guns, and more into Canada but is not held accountable
    and the tariff remains.
Make demands that he own up to HIS short comings that are hurting us and impose tariffs until he complies.
  4. Continental Travel
A Canadian or US Drivers license used to be all that was needed. Then a passport is required and now, 'Snowbirds'
must register if staying longer than 30 days and all Canadians can be detained or deported for any reason. US citizens
are not so treated here. The USA is too dangerous for Canadians dispite US businesses begging for us to come back.
Place travel restrictions to the USA as long as they take unfriendly action against us.
  5. Military Spending and NATO commitment
Former Canadian Governments have neglected the military for 50 years out of fear that they would not be re-elected if we
spent money on that rather than perks. We were to order 80 F-35 fighters paid for eight and not a single fighter has
arrived yet. The US can scream all they want about Canada not doing it's share but if the USA can't honour it's contracts
they have nothing to complain about.
The Carney Government is ramping up Arctic defense, Ship building, enlistment, and much more.
  6. The Auto sector
Trump wants all auto manufacturing to be in the USA which is not practical since he lacks the Steel, Aluminum, etc..
A better plan would be to make northern states Provinces of Canada. The new provinces would not have to pay tariffs and have
access to steel, aluminum, and the like. Factories would not need to move and we could just deport the republicans.
  7. The Pension Funds
Companies all over the world invest pensions, EI, CPP, OAS in US markets which WAS a secure investment before Trumps Tariff
game. The USA is ideally bankrupt spending more than it's GDP and when investors get nervous they transfer such into gold.
They don't make interest but they also don't lose their money. Trump has indicated he would tax interest paid on investments
at a very high rate which could damage our economy.
We need to diverge our investments away from the USA held trusts immediately.
  8. Steel, Aluminum, Minerals, and rare earth elements
These are the things the USA needs for defense, manufacturing, and productivity. They say they don't need these from us
which is why they are trying to make deals with China, India, Ukraine, Russia so they can force us to make concessions.
If we cut off all shipments until all Tariffs are removed and negotiations are significantly begun their economy halts and WE
    have the power.
  9. The Auto sector EV mandate
The USA has ended involvement in the Paris climate accord. It does not want EV vehicles. We are in the Paris Climate accord so
we are obligated to go net zero by 2050. Alberta's Danielle Smith is just like Trump for she is fighting to end net zero as
well. The big 3 Auto makers are right, they can't make 500 Million EV or even 34 Million just for Canada by 2035 now that
    the USA isn't going EV.
My Books on going green with vehicle conversion to EV can make Canada a powerhouse globally and meet the targets.
  10. Canada is an energy superpower
The USA needs our oil, gas, electricity, water. When the original Steel and Aluminum tariffs were placed, Doug ford imposed a
25% tariff on electricity and with-in an hour a meeting was arranged to discuss things as long as he took off the tariff.
He took off the tariff to get the meeting which resolved nothing and in a few days the tariff was increased against us with
the USA claiming we caved to demands.
Canada needs to be tough. Trump is a bully. Without Oil, gas, electricity or fresh water 9 States will be crippled until he
    removes all tariffs.
  11. CUSMA IS DEAD
Trump did not follow the dispute clause and decided to break the agreement with clippling tariffs. There is NO point
negotiating a new agreement since he will just break it too. TAKE THE GLOVES OFF RIGHT NOW and cut him off of everything.
Canada needs to be tough. Trump is a bully. Without trade, tourism, and the like he will soon see who has the cards.

June 30, 2025 Trump breaks Canada
I guess it's obvious we Canadians must bend over in unison and kiss our asses goodbye. There is no hope for us
to save our country. Trump places damaging tariffs on us and if we retaliate we quickly roll things back at the first
sign of objection. In the latest reversal, MultiNational tech giants don't have to pay taxes. This hurts Canada with a
loss of income of 2 Billion a year. In a statement from Washington it will not stop additional tariffs being placed.
So not only do we give away 2 Billion dollars of revenue and get nothing in return but may even get more harmful
tariffs. The message sent is we will not stand up for ourselves. The USA is bankrupt. How can a country that holds
the very resources the USA needs to stay alive just sits here and lets the USA extort us at every whim of it's dictator.

June 27, 2025 Trump breaks promise
In 2022 a "Digital Services Tax was set to begin in July of 2025 to allow businesses like Amazon, Google, and META
to prepare. These businesses earn money from canadians without paying any tax on the revenues. Once
anounced, these businesses immediately raised prices and pocketed extra profit of 3% on all sales and subscriptions.
With the tax due to take effect at midnight monday and being retroactive to 2022 Canada wants it's 2 billion dollar share,
which these businesses have already increased prices to cover. Trump promised at the G7 to work out a deal with-in 30
days on trade tariffs. and now as the DST is about to take effect says All trade talks are off unless Canada stops
the DST immediately and will be hit with severe tariffs even if it comes off.
Canada will face more trouble because we hold
the cards. Some are talking that maybe we should pause or remove the tax as a sign of good faith. I say B*ll Sh*t! Trump
started this war to destroy our ecconomy and weaken us. Why should we allow US industry to make money without paying tax,
Canadian companies that do business in the USA have to pay tax. Many Canadian companies are not even allowed to do business
in the USA.

What I notice is that the PM speaks of big spending needed and as he talks and notes where money will come from, the critics
talk about how big the spending is and how the money coming in is hypothetical. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. If you do nothing, nothing gets done

Danielle smith says Albertans want to separate from Canada in larger numbers. She is the problem. She has cut
services and support to schools, hospitals, health care, and businesses like farmers while boasting a 8.3 Billion
dollar surplus in it's budget. It would have a much higher surplus if the price per barrel on oil and gas had not dropped.
Albertans' don't want to leave Canada they do want HER and the UCP to leave Canada. My view is that She and her party
are the most divisive force with the most unrealistic objectives Canada has ever seen.

June 18, 2025 A day after G7
USA poised to enter war between Iran and Isreal
Alberta and Saskatchewan Premiers meet in Llyodminister to talk path forward. Premiers set to make demands of
Ottawa and threatens retaliation if demands are not met immediately. The premiers need to grow up. The world does NOT revolve around them alone.

June 17, 2025 G7 almost over
Over shadowing the summit was an escalation between Iran and Isreal over Iran attempting to develop nuclear bomb
capability, President Trump left the summit after just one day to address this threat to international security.

June 14, 2025 Refugees vs Protestors
As I see it, India, Pakistan, Syria,
Lebanon, Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Isreal, Palistine all need to smarten up. They are engaged in religeous warfare over the
belief that their religeon is the only true religeon and anyone not following the religeon is evil. They fight for
lands and sacred temple claims that don't make sense to me. The common factor in the religeons is that those who do
not believe will be judged by 'GOD' not man. They are to love thy neighbor and keep themselves true to the faith.

People of these lands have sought out Canada as a refuge from persecution, war, and displacement because of our
tollerance of beliefs. My underlying concern is that they fled to here to avoid the problems of their homeland and
then seek to bring those problems into our society. While I understand many have loved ones left behind, seeking to
bring them here to safety is possible but, engaging in the conflict is not our job.

June 9, 2025 G7 ramp up
Calgary is preping to welcome the G7 leaders to the G7 summit in under a week. some invitees are not in the G7 but
seen as useful in the sense of strategic importance or diplomatic mending of relations. As such Mexico, India,
Arabia and Ukraine are invited. PM Carney hopes to build relations with Mexico regarding CUSMA
negotiations, Arabia with regards to the Isreal Gaza problem. Ukraine war with Russia is also a goal.
India are high trade players that while there are issues with Canada it may open productive talks possible.

PM Carney has released a plan forward that will increase spending on the military to bring us to 2% of GDP this year.
The targets are for improved salaries for service members, increased enrolement, fixing machines of war
not properly maintained for years, procurement of tanks, armoured vehicles, aircraft, subs, ships, armament
and massive build of defence right here at home. spending of 9 Billion. The conservatives say they support this.

Danielle Smith and the UCP once more dance with a dangerous separation game by participating in the separation talks.
Such activity is designed to split people at a time when unity is so needed. She has also approved sales of US
liquor which sends the message she IS OKAY 100% with USA Tariffs. She is not a team Canada player.

June 6, 2025 my comments to the media and critics
Kilroy was an American warning to service men in wwII
to shut up because you don't know who is watching or listening.
Later on "Loose lips sink ships" came to light as critical
opperations were being jeapardized by chatter. I submit this
as recent strategy talks in the USA were hampered when a
journalist was added to a chat session.
"Loose lips" generally means someone who is indiscreet
and talks too much, often revealing sensitive or confidential
information. The phrase "loose lips sink ships" emphasizes that
careless talk can lead to serious consequences

Right to know vs Need to know
This principle empowers citizens to hold institutions accountable
and make informed decisions. The "need to know", on the other hand,
is a practical principle rooted in operational and security contexts.
It restricts information access to those whose duties or responsibilities
require it.

The government just elected by the people were given a mandate to chart a coarse through the trade between
provinces, tariff problems, cost of living, and 23 other complex topics. If the Premiers, Native leaders and
PM with his department heads can't talk to table idea's how can progress be made. During these talks the public only
has needs to know that they are taking place and what topics are being discussed. The details and descisions
once made must be handled by the legislature (provincial) or band meeting (tribal council) or Cabinet (Federal
government) to debate and approve or disprove. At this point the public has the right to hear the debate, and what
action is being taken. Sometimes a motion is flat out defeated and other times it needs public consults and
ammendments.

Did you know that much of what we take for granted today almost never happened. Two men had a vision that man could
fly. Newspapers and scientists called them crazy, a meanice to society, they should be locked up! Sound recording
motion pictures, instant photography, video chat, GPS navigation, were all once reported as crazy, with so called
experts saying it's not possible. Do you know why Communists lack behind Democratics? Under Communism people are
discouraged from free thinking. Idea's are considered harmful. Democracy thrives on Idea's and expression of views.
The name of my website is "werunique" (We Are Unique) which is my way to remind all visiters that
YOU HAVE POTENTIAL , YOU ARE UNIQUE, YOU ARE IMPORTANT, BELIEVE AND GROW

Today the government introduced "The Major Projects bill" to remove inter-province trade barriors and open
a Major Project Department as a focal point for provinces to participate in projects deamed important to nation
building projects. The Cabinet will not adjourn for the summer until passed. Project to be fast tracked come from
Indigenous Leaders, Provinces, and government only after all parties agree to need.

May 30, 2025 Participants start your engines...
First message of the day was from PM Carney asking Municipalities to work with premiers and his
government on infrastructure, housing and other needs they have to build a strong Canada. I ponder
if he read my notice on budget breakdown where I describe using the United premiers group to
organise an United Municipalities group to aid in speedy addressing of housing and infrastructure.

Poilievre of course is doing what he has always done, do nothing but complain. Let me spell
it out. If you needed a car to get to work but you didn't have money for a car, you might get a loan,
and with that loan get a car, earn a living, improve your life, even qualify for a house and raise a
family and even retire.
Poilievre would say don't get that car or plan to improve and own a home or
retire because your wasting money.

What really was the point of holding an election? People said they wanted progress with Tariff handling,
cost of living, access to housing, sovereignty of Canada and security. These things cost money.
PM Carney has put out a figure of spending 485 Billion which is in line with past years.
  1. 2023 collected $379 billion in tax revenue:
    • Income Tax:
Individuals and trusts contributed $207.894 billion
      Corporations contributed $93.945 billion.
Non-resident tax withholdings added $13.187 billion.
    • Goods and Services Tax (GST): $16.387 billion.
    • Other Taxes, Duties, and Charges: $27.104 billion.
  2. 2024 collected $400.190 billion in revenue

In the above prior 2 years, Canada spent more than 7 Billion more than it earned in order to supply
services, health care, etc.. Nothing was spent on tangibles that build Canada strong. So I understand
what PM Carney is doing. Cabinet has fewer ministers which reduces costs. Departments will be merged to
reduce costs, Lowering taxes by 1% reduces revenue by 8 Billion. Supports for workers and industry
adds 4+ Billion to costs, but then comes removal of trade barriers between provinces which can add 200
Billion to GDP and 20 Billion to revenue. Moneies spent on resource extraction and processing and the
energy corridor improve industries and government revenue as does new markets and new industries.
You have to spend money to make money is the bottom line. The money you spend must be for items that
are needed to grow the economy.

If PM Carney does housing in a fashion like I outlined in Housing, Municipalities would get low
cost rentals for families that are homeless, and assistence in low cost rental buildings. People would
get replacement homes at low cost if their homes burned down. People who are first time home buyers
would get low cost housing. While the government pays for construction, Owners repay the government
upon posession. Municipalities manage the need which is reported to the provinces. Premiers
relay the needs to government which handles home building and in the end, People get low cost
housing at minimal cost to the government and prefab home builders in Canada and their suppliers
of lumber, etc. make money too.

Poilievre says he is confident to stay on as leader. Says he is eager to oppose half trillion in excessive
spending by the liberal government.Hmm, 400B covers government staffing of CRA, border security,
RCMP, MP salaries, healthcare, child daycare, dental care, pension management, and provincial
disbursements, and courts and penetentiaries. Seems reasonable. Now we need pipelines,
energy pathways, military recruitment, military hardware, military bases, housing, and
resource extraction and processing. One pipeline from Alberta to BC cost 34B and Quebec
just stated it wants 100B over 10 years for electric transmition lines. PM Carney is
figuring on 85B for building Canada strong when he should be looking for 200B so just where
is the excess? Oh thats right the conservatives raised taxes and spent nothing on making
Canada strong and independant. They stopped the Liberals from spending money on such things too!

He does want the Liberals to increase tax cuts of 1% to 1.5% and cut GST on housing valued 1.3
Million to any buyer instead of Liberal plan to first time buyers on homes of 1 Million.

May 27, 2025 King of Canada gives the throne speach.
King Charles and queen wife Camilla came for a whirl wind visit over the past two days ending with
the throne speach. In the speach he honored the Treaty of First Nations thanking them for
their peaceful sharing of the land with the peoples of Canada. He continued his address stating how
unique and special the visits to deliver the throne speech has been on each of the 3 occasions.
The rest of the throne speech was outlined from the Carney government basic plan which the King
approved as sound and necessary for the time we are in.
The yet to be elected Conservative leader Poilievre responded to the speech saying he is prepared
to work with the Liberal government on Conservative issues but will force amendments to align with
conservative values and oppose those things that conservatives don't agree with. Of note here, are
things like redacting bill c-59 and the carbon levy which means Canada would break it's word on the
Paris Climate accord, severe any hope of trade with the EU, UK, and other markets. It would mean
serious redunction in military spending and procurement.
Up next is a confidence vote on the throne speech. The liberals will need at least 4 votes from the
opposition members. In the debate before the vote, the acting Conservative leader will attempt to

get the Liberals to water down the ambitions of the throne speech to match their poorly laid plans.

It will then go to a vote and 343 MP's from all parties will decide if the government falls or runs.
Canada is not in the mood for another election so with 168 Liberal votes the Bloc, Green, and NDP wiill
need at least 4 members to side with the Liberals. It really would be political suicide to vote against.

If the government survives the throne speech acceptance, it then needs to move fast to get the Consumer
carbon levy revoked, get the 1% Tax cut passed, and lay out the priorities for the ministers including
establishing key new departments to streamline government to reduce dupplication and spending.
