In the news

June 18, 2025 A day after G7
USA poised to enter war between Iran and Isreal
Alberta and Saskatchewan Premiers meet in Llyodminister to talk path forward. Premiers set to make demands of
Ottawa and threatens retaliation if demands are not met immediately. The premiers need to grow up. The world does NOT revolve around them alone.

June 17, 2025 G7 almost over
Over shadowing the summit was an escalation between Iran and Isreal over Iran attempting to develop nuclear bomb
capability, President Trump left the summit after just one day to address this threat to international security.

June 14, 2025 Refugees vs Protestors
As I see it, India, Pakistan, Syria,
Lebanon, Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Isreal, Palistine all need to smarten up. They are engaged in religeous warfare over the
belief that their religeon is the only true religeon and anyone not following the religeon is evil. They fight for
lands and sacred temple claims that don't make sense to me. The common factor in the religeons is that those who do
not believe will be judged by 'GOD' not man. They are to love thy neighbor and keep themselves true to the faith.

People of these lands have sought out Canada as a refuge from persecution, war, and displacement because of our
tollerance of beliefs. My underlying concern is that they fled to here to avoid the problems of their homeland and
then seek to bring those problems into our society. While I understand many have loved ones left behind, seeking to
bring them here to safety is possible but, engaging in the conflict is not our job.

June 9, 2025 G7 ramp up
Calgary is preping to welcome the G7 leaders to the G7 summit in under a week. some invitees are not in the G7 but
seen as useful in the sense of strategic importance or diplomatic mending of relations. As such Mexico, India,
Arabia and Ukraine are invited. PM Carney hopes to build relations with Mexico regarding CUSMA
negotiations, Arabia with regards to the Isreal Gaza problem. Ukraine war with Russia is also a goal.
India are high trade players that while there are issues with Canada it may open productive talks possible.

PM Carney has released a plan forward that will increase spending on the military to bring us to 2% of GDP this year.
The targets are for improved salaries for service members, increased enrolement, fixing machines of war
not properly maintained for years, procurement of tanks, armoured vehicles, aircraft, subs, ships, armament
and massive build of defence right here at home. spending of 9 Billion. The conservatives say they support this.

Danielle Smith and the UCP once more dance with a dangerous separation game by participating in the separation talks.
Such activity is designed to split people at a time when unity is so needed. She has also approved sales of US
liquor which sends the message she IS OKAY 100% with USA Tariffs. She is not a team Canada player.

June 6, 2025 my comments to the media and critics
Kilroy was an American warning to service men in wwII
to shut up because you don't know who is watching or listening.
Later on "Loose lips sink ships" came to light as critical
opperations were being jeapardized by chatter. I submit this
as recent strategy talks in the USA were hampered when a
journalist was added to a chat session.
"Loose lips" generally means someone who is indiscreet
and talks too much, often revealing sensitive or confidential
information. The phrase "loose lips sink ships" emphasizes that
careless talk can lead to serious consequences

Right to know vs Need to know
This principle empowers citizens to hold institutions accountable
and make informed decisions. The "need to know", on the other hand,
is a practical principle rooted in operational and security contexts.
It restricts information access to those whose duties or responsibilities
require it.

The government just elected by the people were given a mandate to chart a coarse through the trade between
provinces, tariff problems, cost of living, and 23 other complex topics. If the Premiers, Native leaders and
PM with his department heads can't talk to table idea's how can progress be made. During these talks the public only
has needs to know that they are taking place and what topics are being discussed. The details and descisions
once made must be handled by the legislature (provincial) or band meeting (tribal council) or Cabinet (Federal
government) to debate and approve or disprove. At this point the public has the right to hear the debate, and what
action is being taken. Sometimes a motion is flat out defeated and other times it needs public consults and
ammendments.

Did you know that much of what we take for granted today almost never happened. Two men had a vision that man could
fly. Newspapers and scientists called them crazy, a meanice to society, they should be locked up! Sound recording
motion pictures, instant photography, video chat, GPS navigation, were all once reported as crazy, with so called
experts saying it's not possible. Do you know why Communists lack behind Democratics? Under Communism people are
discouraged from free thinking. Idea's are considered harmful. Democracy thrives on Idea's and expression of views.
The name of my website is "werunique" (We Are Unique) which is my way to remind all visiters that
YOU HAVE POTENTIAL , YOU ARE UNIQUE, YOU ARE IMPORTANT, BELIEVE AND GROW

Today the government introduced "The Major Projects bill" to remove inter-province trade barriors and open
a Major Project Department as a focal point for provinces to participate in projects deamed important to nation
building projects. The Cabinet will not adjourn for the summer until passed. Project to be fast tracked come from
Indigenous Leaders, Provinces, and government only after all parties agree to need.

May 30, 2025 Participants start your engines...
First message of the day was from PM Carney asking Municipalities to work with premiers and his
government on infrastructure, housing and other needs they have to build a strong Canada. I ponder
if he read my notice on budget breakdown where I describe using the United premiers group to
organise an United Municipalities group to aid in speedy addressing of housing and infrastructure.

Poilievre of course is doing what he has always done, do nothing but complain. Let me spell
it out. If you needed a car to get to work but you didn't have money for a car, you might get a loan,
and with that loan get a car, earn a living, improve your life, even qualify for a house and raise a
family and even retire.
Poilievre would say don't get that car or plan to improve and own a home or
retire because your wasting money.

What really was the point of holding an election? People said they wanted progress with Tariff handling,
cost of living, access to housing, sovereignty of Canada and security. These things cost money.
PM Carney has put out a figure of spending 485 Billion which is in line with past years.
  1. 2023 collected $379 billion in tax revenue:
  2. 2024 collected $400.190 billion in revenue

In the above prior 2 years, Canada spent more than 7 Billion more than it earned in order to supply
services, health care, etc.. Nothing was spent on tangibles that build Canada strong. So I understand
what PM Carney is doing. Cabinet has fewer ministers which reduces costs. Departments will be merged to
reduce costs, Lowering taxes by 1% reduces revenue by 8 Billion. Supports for workers and industry
adds 4+ Billion to costs, but then comes removal of trade barriers between provinces which can add 200
Billion to GDP and 20 Billion to revenue. Moneies spent on resource extraction and processing and the
energy corridor improve industries and government revenue as does new markets and new industries.
You have to spend money to make money is the bottom line. The money you spend must be for items that
are needed to grow the economy.

If PM Carney does housing in a fashion like I outlined in Housing, Municipalities would get low
cost rentals for families that are homeless, and assistence in low cost rental buildings. People would
get replacement homes at low cost if their homes burned down. People who are first time home buyers
would get low cost housing. While the government pays for construction, Owners repay the government
upon posession. Municipalities manage the need which is reported to the provinces. Premiers
relay the needs to government which handles home building and in the end, People get low cost
housing at minimal cost to the government and prefab home builders in Canada and their suppliers
of lumber, etc. make money too.

Poilievre says he is confident to stay on as leader. Says he is eager to oppose half trillion in excessive
spending by the liberal government.Hmm, 400B covers government staffing of CRA, border security,
RCMP, MP salaries, healthcare, child daycare, dental care, pension management, and provincial
disbursements, and courts and penetentiaries. Seems reasonable. Now we need pipelines,
energy pathways, military recruitment, military hardware, military bases, housing, and
resource extraction and processing. One pipeline from Alberta to BC cost 34B and Quebec
just stated it wants 100B over 10 years for electric transmition lines. PM Carney is
figuring on 85B for building Canada strong when he should be looking for 200B so just where
is the excess? Oh thats right the conservatives raised taxes and spent nothing on making
Canada strong and independant. They stopped the Liberals from spending money on such things too!

He does want the Liberals to increase tax cuts of 1% to 1.5% and cut GST on housing valued 1.3
Million to any buyer instead of Liberal plan to first time buyers on homes of 1 Million.

May 27, 2025 King of Canada gives the throne speach.
King Charles and queen wife Camilla came for a whirl wind visit over the past two days ending with
the throne speach. In the speach he honored the Treaty of First Nations thanking them for
their peaceful sharing of the land with the peoples of Canada. He continued his address stating how
unique and special the visits to deliver the throne speech has been on each of the 3 occasions.
The rest of the throne speech was outlined from the Carney government basic plan which the King
approved as sound and necessary for the time we are in.
The yet to be elected Conservative leader Poilievre responded to the speech saying he is prepared
to work with the Liberal government on Conservative issues but will force amendments to align with
conservative values and oppose those things that conservatives don't agree with. Of note here, are
things like redacting bill c-59 and the carbon levy which means Canada would break it's word on the
Paris Climate accord, severe any hope of trade with the EU, UK, and other markets. It would mean
serious redunction in military spending and procurement.
Up next is a confidence vote on the throne speech. The liberals will need at least 4 votes from the
opposition members. In the debate before the vote, the acting Conservative leader will attempt to

get the Liberals to water down the ambitions of the throne speech to match their poorly laid plans.

It will then go to a vote and 343 MP's from all parties will decide if the government falls or runs.
Canada is not in the mood for another election so with 168 Liberal votes the Bloc, Green, and NDP wiill
need at least 4 members to side with the Liberals. It really would be political suicide to vote against.

If the government survives the throne speech acceptance, it then needs to move fast to get the Consumer
carbon levy revoked, get the 1% Tax cut passed, and lay out the priorities for the ministers including
establishing key new departments to streamline government to reduce dupplication and spending.

May 19, 2025 Russia buys USA?
Russia has been stringing Trump along for months pulling the strings. Russia is looking for sanctions off and trade
with the USA to begin then he will consider a temporary siese fire on Ukarane. Just the world can't trust Trump
they also can't trust Putin.
